Most of us have ideas about how to improve our nation and the world. And yet we recognize that so many of the political and economic forces at work in the world are beyond our ability to influence. So we watch…and we wait…we hope…and we complain…forgetting that nothing will make the world better than simple acts of kindness.
Kindness blesses others. It lifts them emotionally and spiritually and helps them not only feel better in the moment but instills, in them, a sense of goodwill and trust in humankind.
Kindness also humanizes us, the doers. It expands our compassion and even unleashes chemicals in our brains that literally change us physically and mentally.
So here is a video that I just recorded about acts of kindness. Particularly powerful is the video within this video showing the power of kindness, real-world examples of kindness, and why kindness is important. But beware, it may make you cry.
My purpose is to teach you strategies to replace negative patterns with a positive state of mind from which you can achieve your greatest desires and live a joyful and abundant life.

"There aren’t words to adequately describe what my heart feels. Thank you so very much."
Jacki Bartley
I try to do this every day at least once. When the other person seems to be caught off guard and grateful, which is most of the time, I usually invite them to do something kind for somebody else before the end of the day – to “pay it forward”. I have never been turned down when making that invitation. It doubles the positive effect on me, and likely on them as well.
